Cape Cod

Before my move to NYC, I spent a week in Cape Cod with my family at our house in Brewster. I was basically off the grid because there is barely any phone service or internet access there. It was nice to get away, relax on the beach and do some reading. I read two books in less than a week! One was "Her Every Fear" by Peter Swanson and the other was "The Woman In Cabin 10" by Ruth Ware. I would highly recommend either of those to people who like thrillers! They were awesome and quick reads.

We hiked the dunes and went into Provincetown (obviously had to hit up the Human Rights Campaign store and purchase a few items). We went to Snowy Owl Coffee Roasters, Sunbird in Orleans and The Brewster Scoop. We rode on the bike trail and caught a few beautiful sunsets. We ate some fried food and ice cream every day. It was definitely a perfect week on the Cape and some good relaxation before I moved to the city and started job and apartment hunting, and studying for my licensing exam.

One of my favorite things about the Cape is that it is hot during the day but it cools down at night. You all know my love for sweaters and long pants! I obsessed with this casual look that I wore one night to El Guapo's Tacos. Outfit details are:

Hope you all get a chance to relax on the beach, or wherever your happy place is, very soon!
