For the last few weeks, I've been a bit MIA for a while from both the blogging and Instagram world. It honestly has not been a priority for me as I've been settling in to being back home and getting back into my routine of classes, work, interning, and spending time with my friends who I missed so much over the summer! However, I still love blogging very much and I wanted to get back into my blog just in time to celebrate its one year anniversary!
I cannot believe that I created Hello From Molly one year ago. Making this blog has done so many good things for me. It has inspired me to go new places, try new things, to become more creative and better at photography. I am so happy that one year ago I actually decided to act upon my desire to become a blogger, instead of simply reading other blogs and wishing I could become what other bloggers are.
Spending the summer in New York City was truly a wonderful experience. I felt like it was really the first time I was able to be completely selfish and do something just for me. I spent time exploring, reading, people watching, eating amazing food, exercising, and hanging out with some great friends and family. I was very sad to leave and I am thinking very seriously about moving to Brooklyn when I am done with my master's degree in May.
I am so excited for what this next year has in store for me. I have been training hard all summer for the Hartford Half Marathon which is October 8th (come cheer me on!). I am feeling confident in my own skin which is an awesome feeling as I had gained some weight due to stress and an insanely busy schedule over the last school year. I recently got out of a long relationship and while that was very difficult for me, I look forward to jumping back into the dating world and meeting some new people (anyone have any advice!?). I am also beginning an internship soon at one of the top mental health organizations in the region and I am ready to learn more about the amazing profession that I am about to enter. I will, of course, also be working on my blog. Fall is my favorite time of year, weather wise and style wise so I am very excited to do some fall style and activity posts!
Thank you all for following along this journey with me so far! The best is yet to come!
