On Friday afternoon my sister and I hopped on a train to meet our mom in the Berkshires for the weekend. We stayed in a little town in Vermont that honestly, did not have all that much to offer (except that the B&B included dinner and drinks, which was pretty nice), so we ventured to surrounding towns to find fun things to do. There were some cool covered bridges in Bennington that we had to go take pictures of!
Doesn't that cheese spread just look UNREAL! Yum! Also, the cute bracelet that I'm wearing is from Boho Betty and if you use code "HELLOFROMMOLLY" you can get 20% off your entire purchase, including sale items! Go check it out!
On Saturday, we went to Williamstown, Mass, which is where Williams College is located. We walked around the town there, went to a farmer's market, visited the art museum at the college, ate lunch, and got some ice cream.
After Williamstown, we drove all the way up Mount Greylock to see the summit and the surrounding view!
Sunday, we left Vermont pretty early to start our treck back to the city. We stopped in Stockbridge and Great Barrington along the way. Stockbridge is such a cute little New England town. I love it there because it's home to the Red Lion Inn (where my mom and I went on a special trip together when I finished middle school) and the Norman Rockwell Museum (he is my favorite artist!) We strolled around, visited the Red Lion and its AMAZING porch, and got lunch at a little cafe. In Great Barrington, we headed straight to SoCo Creamery where my sister and I have been dying to go since we saw photos of the ice cream months ago. They had the most interesting flavors, I got cinnamon with rainbow sprinkles and it was sooo delicious!
It was a nice ladies weekend and a chance to explore some places that we've never been before! I definitely want to go back to Stockbridge and Great Barrington sometime soon!
