Before I was officially here in Brooklyn, I kept seeing these amazing pictures of rainbow bagels on my Instagram feed! Since I'm always one to follow a trend (especially when it comes to food) I knew I had to find these colorful bagels! I've heard that people stand in line for HOURS to get them. Once I got to NYC, I googled where to get them and found a place called The Bagel Store in Williamsburg. It is located at 349 Bedford Avenue for those of you looking too! I decided to venture there this week and try the bagels out for myself! When I got there, I was so excited to see the rainbow bagels and unique cream cheeses (including red velvet and funfetti). I was even more excited to see that there was NO line! This is likely because it was the middle of the day on a Thursday. I got a few of the rainbow bagels and a tub of the funfetti cream cheese to take home to enjoy with my sister. The actual bagel, even though it is so colorful, is plain, but the cream cheese was delicious and had rainbow sprinkles in it (literally my favorite thing).
Now that I know where to find these fun bagels, I will definitely be going back, and bringing friends too! Who knew that such a craze could be created over some food coloring and dough!
