I've had quite a busy week. Monday-Thursday I nannied for 10-11 hours a day and then went home and packed and cleaned for NYC. Wednesday was my 25th birthday! I had a super low key day, mostly spent with the kids that I nanny, but it was fun because we made waffles, watched Zootopia and I took them to the pool. Finally, Friday arrived and it was time to head to Brooklyn. My parents, Tinkerbell, and my sister's boyfriend drove me down to the city. When my sister got out of work we spent the day organizing my stuff then strolling around and getting a bite to eat. I was surprised but Tinkerbell seemed to love the city. She was marching around the streets like she owned the place and she was relatively calm around all the people. I really thought about keeping her here in the city with me but then I thought about she gets nervous quickly in new places and how happy she is back at home in West Hartford. So, she went back home with my parents on Friday night. Yesterday, my sister and I went to the Union Square Farmer's Market, out to brunch at The Butcher's Daughter, and to one of her friend's apartments in SoHo. We walked about 28,000 steps (12.5 miles). I am going to be in such great shape after strolling around all summer. Today, we went for a run, then got some tea/coffee (I had one of the best iced matcha latte's I've ever had at Tekoa in Cobble Hill) and sat in a park and read. Then we came back and I transferred my blog over to Squarespace! This is something that I've been wanting to do for a while so I'm excited that I've finally done it! Hope you like the new Hello From Molly! I'll be sure to post much more about NYC soon!
