Pastels in Charleston

Charleston is seriously beautiful and I am absolutely loving it so far. The weather has been really nice, as a New Englander, I can't stress enough how amazing it is to not be wearing a heavy jacket and to actually enjoy being outside at the end of January. We are staying just off of King Street, where there are tons of shops and restaurants. All of the houses in Charleston are so charming and unique. Get ready for an overload of houses and front doors, which have been my favorite thing to take pictures of. We spent most of the day yesterday wandering around the city visiting the historic district, the french quarter, walking by the water, and of course, venturing to Rainbow Row.

We have eaten some great food so far. I think my favorite meal was at Amen Street, I got the Tuna Tacos (but replaced the tuna with blackened shrimp) and they were delicious! I highly recommend Amen Street to anyone visiting Charleston! We also went to Toast and Eli's Table, both were delicious. Tomorrow we will be going to the highly recommended restaurant Husk. Can't wait to taste the food there! I'll report back.
