Christmas is coming and I couldn't be more excited. I am officially done with my semester as of Saturday and I am thrilled not to have to do homework again for another month. I am still interning but without homework and class I have so much more time, I practically don't know what to do with myself. I've been reading a new book (I am only 1.5 books away from reaching my goal of finishing 25 books this year!) that I am really enjoying. I started knitting a new scarf and I am going to finally teach myself how to play the Ukulele that I got for my birthday way back in June. I am also spending a ton of time cuddling with and loving on my little girl Tinkerbell, who had a pretty serious health scare last week. She is doing a lot better now but will be on medication for the rest of her life which makes me really sad.
I did some Black Friday shopping and picked up some goodies. I love how now sales always extend through the whole weekend because I am NOT interested in venturing to the mall actually on Black Friday. Most stores have sales that extend basically until Christmas. Madewell (which is my favorite store if you couldn't tell) is currently having 25% off your entire purchase. So run there now if you've been eyeing something!
I've been getting in the Christmas spirit by decorating my room and doing all my gift shopping! Here are some of my favorite things for her (whether it be a friend, sister, mother, girlfriend, or anyone else) and him (brother, dad, boyfriend).
While out shopping for my family members, I picked up a few things for myself too (whoops). I am absolutely obsessed with the button back sweater that I put in the "her" gift section. For some reason I just really like sweaters that button in the back. They're super cute and this one is really soft and comfortable. I have an old one from Madewell and the kids at my internship last year used to always say to me "Miss, I think you're wearing your sweater backwards" which was really amusing and cute. I also scooped up another flannel and this adorable pom pom sweater which is seriously perfect for Christmas!
Now back to reading The Couple Next Door (it's SO good!) and snuggling with Tink.
