I went on my first run of 2016 on Sunday. My dad has already signed us up for the Hartford Half Marathon in October so I figure I better start preparing! I do not like running in the cold but because this weekend was so beautiful I thought I would venture out! There's nothing better than a nice cold smoothie after a run.
Here's what I whipped up this time:
- 1 Banana
- 1/2 Cup Strawberries
- 1/2 Cup Mango
- 1 Scoop Flax Seed
- 1 Cup Almond Milk
- 2 Scoops Chocolate Protein Powder (I use an organic whey powder from Whole Foods)
- 1 Scoop of Ice
Blend it all together and enjoy!
