Chocolate Covered Strawberry Smoothie

VSCO Cam-1.jpg I went on my first run of 2016 on Sunday. My dad has already signed us up for the Hartford Half Marathon in October so I figure I better start preparing! I do not like running in the cold but because this weekend was so beautiful I thought I would venture out! There's nothing better than a nice cold smoothie after a run.

Here's what I whipped up this time:

  • 1 Banana
  • 1/2 Cup Strawberries
  • 1/2 Cup Mango
  • 1 Scoop Flax Seed
  • 1 Cup Almond Milk
  • 2 Scoops Chocolate Protein Powder (I use an organic whey powder from Whole Foods)
  • 1 Scoop of Ice

Blend it all together and enjoy!
