Rainy Day Activities

The weather over the weekend was so beautiful. It felt like a spring day! But, yesterday and today it has taken a turn for the worse. I just got back from my internship so I am going to snuggle in for a few hours and work on my new adult coloring book! I went on a little shopping spree at Barnes & Noble with my friend over the weekend and I'm really excited to start coloring! Mindfulness is something that I really want to work on for myself and it's something that I teach the kids that I work with. Any type of coloring or art can be good for relaxation and getting rid of stress! IMG_1198.JPGIMG_1191.JPGIMG_1199.JPGIMG_1197.JPG

An extensive supply of adult coloring books can be found here! I always like to have a candle going, especially when its dreary outside (except last week I couldn't remember if I blew out the candle before going to class and leaving the house...talk about stressful!!!) Urban Outfitters and Anthropologie are probably my favorite places to find beautiful and yummy smelling candles. Cozy sweaters are a must for rainy days also. I am currently loving this, this, and this.
