I usually hate doing touristy things when I'm in New York and sometimes Manhattan is a nightmare for me because of all the crowds. However, because it was Christmas and I had the day to explore by myself I decided to venture to Rockefeller Center to see all of the decorations and the big tree! It was extremely busy and crowded but I think seeing the tree was worth it!
I feel like it doesn't even look real in these pictures. So pretty! While I waited for my sister to get out of work, I killed some time by going into the stores around the plaza. My favorite store by far was Anthropologie. They had window displays to rival the Bendel's Holiday display. I used to work at Anthropologie so I know the hard work that goes into making these displays and it must have taken hours upon hours. But the result was amazing!
There were so many more but I couldn't get good photos because there was a constant stream of people walking by. Inside it was a Christmas dream as well!
I also passed by Radio City Music Hall on my stroll, of course I had to get a picture of that!
Although it was super crowded it was pretty cool to see everything! We're off to more adventures in the city today!
