On Sunday morning in NYC my sister and I decided to get up early and venture to a coffee shop called Happy Bones which is in the East Village. I've seen it a ton on Instagram and they make really pretty coffees and have my favorite Dough Doughnuts (sadly I am on Whole30 so I couldn't eat one). We arrived so early that the shop was pretty much empty. My sister said that sometimes there's a line out the door! I got a latte with coconut milk and my sister got a cortado and a glazed doughnut.
If you follow my blog you know I don't drink coffee all that much, but this was good! And it was so pretty I couldn't resist taking a bunch of pictures. It tasted really good with the coconut milk and it added a bit of a natural sweetness. Definitely a place I would go back to! After coffee, we went to find a mural that I had also seen on Instagram. It was on first street. Again, it was so early that we were the only ones there. It was lucky because we took about a million pictures!
The mural was so cute and such a good photo background! I'm excited that I was able to cross two big things off my NYC bucket list this weekend! I am already planning things to do for my next trip in December.
