President's Day Wanderings

Life has been so crazy! Midterms are officially in full swing, I am starting to apply and interview for jobs, and I've been managing some pretty tough cases at my internship. The stress is seriously piling up. I cannot wait for this weekend to come so I can get drinks and let loose with some of my favorite girls! I am happy that spring is around the corner. There have been so many beautiful days lately but unfortunately I have been cooped up inside in class. I went for my first outdoor run of the year on Sunday. Can't wait for spring to be in full force so I can spend more time outside.

I've finally posted the rest of my photos from my trip to NYC two weekends ago. We went to Central Park. The weather was absolutely gorgeous! My perfect weather would be sun shining, but not too hot. Like cool enough to wear long pants and a sweater, and that's exactly what this weather was! We went to the new Bluestone Lane Cafe in DUMBO and got amazing avocado toast and an iced matcha latte. Then we headed to the West Village (my favorite DUH!) to explore a bit there before I headed home on Monday night.

I cannot wait for midterms and all this stress to be over so I can head back to the city. I also want to plan a trip back to Boston soon! I have not spent enough time there recently. Oh now I am daydreaming of the possibilities when my weekends aren't filled with schoolwork...

Spring in February

For the long President's Day weekend I took a trip to Brooklyn to visit my summer stomping grounds. As the weekend approached, I was excited to see that it was going to be beautiful weather. Like no coat in February weather! Saturday morning, my sister and I met up with my best friend Nica in Williamsburg. We went to Sunday In Brooklyn for a delicious brunch and then strolled around the neighborhood, went to Sweatshop Coffee and of course Madewell. Then, Katie and I came back to Brooklyn Heights and walked around in the beautiful weather with the adorable little pup Sofee that we are watching this weekend. Then, unfortunately, I have a paper due on Monday so I had to work on that for a good amount of time.

Boston & Northampton

Last weekend my best friend from college who lives in San Francisco came to visit me. We had such a wonderful time. It was so great to see her after not seeing her for over a year and it felt like no time had passed. Friday we headed to Boston to visit Jenny, our other good friend from college. We started out in Harvard Square at Tatte Bakery which is a bakery I've been wanting to go to for a while now. Then we headed to Beacon Hill, the public gardens, and up Newbury street to Boston Public Library. Then went to Quincy Market to explore a bit and lastly over to the North End for some cannoli at Modern Pastry. We ended back at Jenny's house in Somerville ordering Chinese food and watching How To Be Single and reminiscing about our college days. It was the perfect girls day.

Saturday, Angela and I braved the snow to head to Northampton, which is where we went to college at Smith! It's been a while since we were there together so it was really great to be back. We went to some of our favorite places in town including my first ever hot yoga class, which legit had both of us dripping with sweat by the end.

It was an amazing weekend in some of my favorite places with some of my favorite people.
